This is a great tv -- lightweight, nice picture, tons of features, has surprisingly nice sound, and is exactly what I was looking for. I checked it out at Best Buy first, but you can't beat Amazon because delivery was free and faster. We have a 42" LCD smart tv in another room and its amazing how much more natural and crisp the picture is with the LED. It took 5 minutes to set it up, and it has a great swivel stand. Overall, I am really happy with this purchase.

I got mine from a local store on sale for a little under $1600. That was about three weeks ago. And since then my entire family just can't get enough of it.

Picture quality is just great - and that's expected. But what amazes me is all the extra functionality with what this TV is packed.

1. Video streaming with Netflix. (It also has VUDU, YouTube, Picasa - but I did not try VUDU yet, and YouTube and Picasa work just fine, but I do not need a huge display to view some low resolution videos from YouTube). So Netflix movies available to watch instantly look great. Even those that are not HD quality. I must say that I have FIOS internet connection, so that must be also a component for high quality videos, but as far as this set goes - it does a great job.

2. This TV has 2 hi-speed USB2.0 input jacks, and it recognizes not just flash drives, but also USB external hard drives - even with NTFS file format. I tried both - FAT32 and NTFS, and also external...

Review : Great TV
I bought this TV last year on Black Friday and it has performed with no problems. I use this as the master bedroom TV and have no complaints whatsoever. I was able to find the DirecTv remote code on another site (sorry I forgot which one) but haven't had to reprogram remote so that's good. I have it mounted above my computer desk and when on the net and look up at the screen their is no distortion like with other TV's when viewing from the sides (or in my case from below). I would recommend buying this TV.

I don't know if 8M:1 contrast ratio is any better, but the pics on this set is spectacular enough. And it has Google TV built in. You could get a cheaper plasma set and slap on a Google TV box for $99, but you won't get as nicer picture quality, and having the box built into TV is cleaner. I have my 100 mbps connection hooked to it and watching programs on Internet mostly. When I need local channels $19 antenna picks up 50 channels. Who needs cable?

On down side, it seems to be slower than it should be. The spec says duel core processor, but it is slower than my 5 year old laptop over wireless. It takes longer to render nyt.com, for example. And it is clocked at 14 mbps download speed where as my laptop on the same 100mbps connection clocks at 60 mbps. (UPDATE: I ran the speed test more thoroughly, and the speed on the TV was same as the laptop. The initial test must have been a fluke). Purchased this at my local walmart for $328.

It comes with a wifi usb stick so you can connect to your in home WiFi. You can also connect it via ethernet if you prefer. Netflix is a tad slow starting and navigating, but once it gets going it works very well. I don't have Vudu so I can't review on that. The mediaconnect function works pretty well.

Picture looks great, the TV also puts out little to no heat.

Review : Great TV after a lot of tweaking
If you're anything like me you see that this TV is labeled as LED; then you look at the picture and see a lot of fat for the usual Samsung LED depth. Make no mistake this is an LED TV. I got this for my bedroom to replace my 23 inch Samsung Syncmaster. I use this TV mostly for 1080 mp4 movies and blurays (I download what I want to watch instead of waiting for it on cable), and my Xbox and PS3.

I learned 2 things about the TV right off the bat. If you have Comcast, you cannot fully customize the TV's picture. An essential feature called HDMI black levels actually looks much better when its set to low. I have 2 different Comcast HD boxes and since neither of them broadcast at 1080, this feature is locked out. Long story short, Comcast had me thinking I purchased my first dud from Samsung. Seriously, the colors look washed out and none of the channels really had that crisp clear picture I was hoping for. If you plan to use this solely for Comcast, I can't really recommend it...

Review : Best TV for the money!
I ordered this TV thinking I was compromising and would just put it in my bedroom after a couple years and upgrade the main TV anyhow. Boy was I wrong! This TV, when hooked up through HDMI, has an amazing 3D like picture with dark blacks and vivid colors. I am beyond shocked how well the picture and quality is for the price. The widgets and streaming video also work well as I purchased the wireless adapter and it took only a couple minutes to hook up to my wireless router. Overall I cannot recommend this TV more highly!!!
